These Terms and Conditions govern the subscription services provided by Generation Rock School of Music (“we” or “our’ or “us”). to parents or guardians (“Subscribers”) who enrol their child/children (“Students”) in our in-school music education program. By subscribing to our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Subscription Period:
1.1. The subscription period for Generation Rock services is for 11 months, starting in September and concluding in July, excluding the month of August. Subscription payments are taken for each month of the school year and are automatically frozen during the month of August. Subscription payments will be reinstated in September so you do not need to contact us in advance of a new school year as your child’s place will be automatically renewed.
1.2. Costs of lessons are covered from the first day of enrolment until the end of the month from which the payment was taken (e.g. – If you enrolled in mid-April, your first payment will cover the number of lessons taught during that month and you will then be rolled over to the full monthly tariff in May).
1.3. Subscription payments are paid on a monthly basis and are therefore inclusive of any school holidays and/or absences. No deductions can be applied for any of these circumstances.
- Payment Terms:
2.1. Subscribers are required to make monthly payments for the services via direct debit mandate. Payments are due on the first working day of each month for the duration of the subscription. Payments are made in advance for each month (For example, payment made on 1st October covers your child’s learning for the month of October).
2.2. The subscription fee for the in-school music education program is £32.00 per month, including VAT.
2.3. Generation Rock reserves the right to adjust subscription fees with prior notice to Subscribers. Any fee changes will not take effect until the subsequent subscription period.
2.4. Effective from 1st September of each year, monthly payments will increase in alignment with national inflation. The consumer price index as of 31st March will reflect and influence the increase and should there be a significant spike in inflation, subscribers will be informed in writing 30 days before the newly increased subscription is charged. Subscribers have the right to terminate their contract and, therefore, cancel their agreement before the 20th of the month should the rise in inflation be the cause of their withdrawal. This can be done by contacting Generation Rock at info@generationrock.co.uk or 0800 056 0895.
2.5. If there is a failure in a direct debit payment being made, we will attempt to charge the subscription fee again a few days later. If the direct debit payment fails for a second time, we may add the overdue amount to your next month’s subscription charge. Unless your subscription for your child’s account is cancelled by contacting us, monthly direct debit payments will be expected to be made (excluding the month of August as previously stated above).
